Privacy Policy
How Tezz Technologies collects, uses and protects personal information across our websites, software and support.
Last updated: 17 October 2026 · Version 1.0
The short version. We collect only what we need to run our websites and software, answer your enquiries and support our customers. We do not sell personal information. Business data you put into our software belongs to you, and you can ask us to export or delete it. Questions or requests: info@tezztechgroup.com.
Who we are
Tezz Technologies (Private) Limited (“Tezz”, “we”, “us”) is a software company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with management operations in Melbourne, Australia. We build and run Velocitill (a restaurant point-of-sale system), TezzERP (a business management system) and Myser (an expense tracker for Android), and we provide custom software development.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- our websites: tezztechgroup.com, tezzerp.com and velocitill.com;
- enquiries, demo requests and support you send us by form, email, phone or messaging; and
- our software and services, including the data businesses enter into them.
Some services have their own notice that adds detail. If a specific notice and this policy differ, the specific notice applies to that service.
Information we collect
When you visit our websites
Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you open and the date and time. We use it to keep the sites secure and working and, if you accept analytics and marketing cookies, to understand how the sites are used and to measure our advertising (see “Cookies and similar technologies”).
When you contact us
Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the type of business you run and anything you write in your message, whether you use a website form, email, phone or a messaging app.
When you become a customer
Business name, contact person, email, phone, and the billing and tax registration details we need to provide and invoice the service, plus records of your support requests.
When you use our software
Data about the business’s own operations, such as menu items, sales, stock, purchasing, warehousing and distribution records, profit-and-loss figures, expenses, staff and, where the business chooses, its own customers’ names or phone numbers. This applies to Velocitill, TezzERP and Myser, whether you use them on the web, in an app, or through a messaging channel. See “Our role for business data” below.
How we use information
- To answer enquiries, arrange demos and quotes, and provide support.
- To provide, secure, maintain and improve our websites and software.
- To create and manage customer accounts, and to bill for services.
- To detect and prevent spam, abuse and fraud.
- To measure website visits and the performance of our advertising, only if you accept analytics and marketing cookies.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
- To send product updates or offers only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
Our role for business data
When a business uses our software, it decides what data to enter and why. We process that data on the business’s behalf to provide the service. Businesses are responsible for having a lawful basis, and any notices they need, for their own staff and customers.
We do not use business data for advertising and we do not sell it. The business owns its data, can export it, and can ask us to delete it when it ends its service with us.
International transfers
We operate from Pakistan and Australia and use providers whose servers may be in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected in line with this policy.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and the principle of least access for our team. In our software, devices are individually registered and can be revoked, businesses and branches are kept separate from each other, and staff data is encrypted on the device. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it:
- Website enquiries and messages: up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.
- Customer account and billing records: while the account is active and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and other laws require.
- Business data in our software: while the service is active, and deleted on request after it ends, apart from copies we must keep by law.
- Website and security logs: up to 90 days.
- Backups: up to 30 days; deleted data is removed from backups as they expire.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- restrict or stop certain uses, including marketing; and
- export your business data in a usable format.
Email info@tezztechgroup.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are in Australia you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and if you are in the EEA or UK to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
